Steve Andler, Vice President of Marketing, Networks In Motion

Prior to joining Networks In Motion in 2004 as VP of marketing, Steve Andler served as VP of marketing for Toshiba and Fujitsu PC, where he was instrumental in driving the industry trend of integrating wireless technologies into mobile computing products. As CTO for Apple’s PowerBook Division and Worldwide Senior Director, Marketing, Mobile Systems, he re-launched the Newton PDA Platform and was actively involved in the turnaround of the PowerBook division. Andler received degrees in engineering (BSE) and management (MBA) from UCLA.

Fred Anochie, Engineering and Operations Director, COX Communications

Fred Anochie is the Engineering and Operations Director for the network inventory suite of applications at COX Communications which comprise of business solutions for outside and inside plant inventory management. In this capacity, Fred also owns the Geospatial Network Infrastructure System (GNIS) program for which he is responsible for guiding the vision and strategy as well as defining the product roadmap. Fred has over 12 years of professional experience in various capacities with extensive leadership experience in telecommunications and IT. He holds an MBA degree from Emory University in Atlanta, and MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Northeastern University (Boston), respectively.

Anne Bezancon – Founder and CEO, 1020 Placecast

Anne Bezancon is the Founder and CEO of 1020 Placecast. She is a pioneer in the online industry. Previously, Anne held senior executive positions at JiWire (Wi-Fi hotspot directory), Productopia (consumer advice), BEAP (CMS) and PCI (strategic consulting), working with clients such as AOL, Intel, Yahoo, Excite and ATT. In 1994, Anne organized the 40,000 participant Forum of the United Nations Conference on Women in Beijing, China, securing major corporate sponsorship from Apple and Hewlett-Packard.

Jeff Bradford, CEO, Bradford Technologies

Jeff Bradford has been associated with real estate appraisal industry for over 20 years. He is the founder and CEO of Bradford Technologies, the developer of ClickFORMS appraisal software and the new online community for appraisers – AppraisalWorld.For over 25 years, Bradford has been involved with computer-aided analysis and information processing. He is also heavily involved with open standards and is the chief architect of the new MISMO Appraisal and Property XML standards. Bradford earned his MBA at Santa Clara University where he also earned a master’s degree in computer science. He holds a third master’s degree in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Philip Pridmore Brown, Vice President Marketing and Product Services, Thetus Corporation

Philip Pridmore Brown is Vice President of Marketing and Product Services at Thetus Corporation, a market leader in semantic knowledge modeling solutions. Philip has over a decade of experience delivering high technology products and services. For the past five years at Thetus, he has worked directly with customers developing semantic systems for earth sciences, sustainability, intelligence, defense, and general enterprise applications. Philip has expertise in semantic technology, GIS and dynamic goal and risk modeling solutions.

Michael Bullock, Vice President of Consumer Electronics

Michael leads the Consumer Electronics division of Intermap Technologies, which is marketing new consumer products based on Intermap’s proprietary geospatial content. Michael’s division has recently announced the launch of new products comprised of map content with 3D applications for portable navigation devices (PND). He has 20 years experience in remote sensing, mapping and geospatial applications. Michael is also the President of Intermap Federal Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intermap Technologies Corp.

S. J. Camarata, Director, ESRI

S. J. Camarata currently serves as a Director of ESRI, Inc. and oversees corporate strategies. He has been one of the senior executives of ESRI since 1984. SJ also currently serves on the boards of directors of a number of companies and organizations. He has co-founded and served in senior executive rolls with several companies in the software, mobile and medical technology markets. He has a BS degree from the University of Utah and an MLA degree from Utah State University.

Tim Case, GISP, Regional Manager, PB (Parsons Brinckerhoff)

Tim is leader of the global geospatial practice for PB and regional manager of their project visualization group. He is managing development and delivery of innovative solutions for multi-touch collaborative design review, 4D modeling, and a national disaster response system. Tim has successfully delivered scores of technology-enabled projects to infrastructure clients worldwide for all modes of transportation, architecture, urban planning, water, power, and environment. He is a leader in the advancement of BIM and geospatial integration methods including serving as chair of the international standards working group, 3D Information Management, within the Open Geospatial Consortium.

John Cirincione, SRA, CRE, FRICS, Chief Appraiser, Secolink Settlement Services

John serves the real estate appraisal industry as Technology Representative for the Appraisal Institute, Vice-chair to the MISMO.org Valuation Services Workgroup responsible for maintaining standardized business data definitions and resulting XML formats used to report and value real estate, and XML Data Advisor to Employee Relocation Council (ERC.org®). His projects include the use of GIS and GPS in real estate.

Gene Culbertson, Experian

Gene Culbertson has over 20 years industry experience providing in-depth solutions to a variety of industries ranging from retail, financial services, telemetric, automotive and government. Working to developing industry leading solutions that have helped clients achieve maximum efficiencies for revenue growth, network development and delivery chain. Gene is now working at Experian developing market leading solutions that compete in today’s demanding business environment. The solutions Experian provides to clients include household level to geographic summary information and developing the ability to move the bar forward for deeper analysis and better decisions for Experian’s clientele.

Paul Farrell, Managing Director, NGIS Australia

Paul Farrell is the Managing Director of NGIS Australia (www.ngis.com.au), the leading provider of integrated spatial information and related business communication solutions in the Asia-Pacific region. He has 20 years experience in the GIS and IT industry, having worked both overseas and in Australia. He is currently a Director of the Australian Spatial Information Business Association and NGIS China, and in 2006 was a finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Albert Flores, Vice President of Sales, Quova

Mr. Flores has a track record of more than 20 years in successful software sales, project management and administration focused on providing library automation solutions for a variety of market verticals. Prior to acting as Vice President of Sales, he was involved in a variety of different roles throughout the organization including project management, system administration and marketing. His team’s sales efforts have resulted in AGent products being implemented in more than 10,000 libraries throughout North America throughout his tenure with the company. Additionally, Mr. Flores has been involved in some of the company’s largest resource sharing system sales, including implementations in Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Mississippi, New Jersey and Oklahoma. Mr. Flores holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Azusa Pacific University and a Masters of Arts (MA) in Organizational Management from Azusa Pacific.

Bryan Vais, Chief Operating Officer , ASTEROP

Bryan Vais manages Asterop's product, technology, and customer operations in the US. He has extensive experience in designing, developing and deploying site lifecycle management and location intelligence systems based on GIS. While at Vectiv, a VC-backed startup, as VP Product Management he produced and launched the Vectiv product line in 2001. More recently, he managed Siterra Corporation's flagship product, SMS, the most widely adopted site lifecycle management solution throughout the wireless carrier industry. Vais brings over 25 years of relevant software, engineering, project, and customer management experience.

Sean P. Gorman, PhD, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, FortiusOne

Sean Gorman founded FortiusOne in 2005 to bring advanced geospatial technologies to market. He is a recognized expert in geospatial analysis and visualization and has been featured around the world in media such as Wired, Der Spiegel, ABC, Washington Post, Business 2.0 and CNN, and his expertise is sought after by organizations such as, the Critical Infrastructure Task Force and the Homeland Security Advisory Council. Dr. Gorman brings over 10 years of experience at the forefront of the geospatial revolution as a researcher, practitioner, and entrepreneur. Prior to FortiusOne, Dr. Gorman served as VP of R&D for GeoTel, a telecommunications mapping company, and Director of Strategy for iXOL, a Washington D.C. based incubator.

Shane Green, Vice President, Location Content Group, NAVTEQ

Shane is Vice President of Location Content for NAVTEQ, where he has worldwide responsibility for all non-road place-based content, including the next generation of pedestrian and mobile mapping called Discover Cities. He co-founded The Map Network in 1999, which was acquired by NAVTEQ in 2006, and is responsible for expert community content development for the Location Content division. Prior to that, Shane was Vice President and Director of Witten Technologies, Inc., the world leader in near-surface imaging and mapping for the construction and utility industries, which won The Wall Street Journal's Software Innovation of the Year Award.

Keith Ippel , President, IDELIX Software Inc.

Keith Ippel is a team leader who thrives on the innovative and global nature of the software industry. Under his leadership, the lat49 mapvertising technology and network evolved from concept to product launch in less than a year with key partnerships in place including MapQuest and Local.com. In his previous position as Director of Operations and Customer Care at Infowave Software, Ippel led the Customer Care team through the first sales of services to partners, partner sub-contracting agreements, and the implementation of an up-sell strategy to existing customers. Ippel earned his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario where he was the MBA Association President.

Emily Kahoe - Assistant Director of PolicyMap, The Reinvestment Fund

Emily Kahoe joined The Reinvestment Fund in 2005 and serves as the Assistant Director of PolicyMap. Kahoe is responsible for keeping PolicyMap's data current, as well as identifying and incorporating new datasets in response to user feedback. Prior to joining TRF, she worked at the Cartographic Modeling Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, supporting local web-based data mapping applications.

Darren Koenig, Director of Wireless, Internet and Telecommunications, Tele Atlas

As Director of Wireless, Internet and Telecommunications, Darren Koenig manages strategy and marketing in these markets for Tele Atlas. He has more than 16 years of experience in commercializing emerging technologies and has held key management positions at Sprint-Nextel, Cable and Wireless LLC and MCI Communications, in addition to two years running a startup. Koenig graduated from the University of Virginia School of Engineering and Applied Science and holds a Certificate of Management from the University of Maryland.

Krishna Kumar, Founder and CEO, Enterprise Horizons.

Krishna Kumar is responsible for product roadmap and strategy of the Enterprise Horizons suite of products. Prior to Enterprise Horizons, Krishna was the Vice President of SAP at Ness Technologies (NASDAQ: NSTC) and Sr. Vice President of e-Commerce solutions at Intelligroup (NASDAQ: ITIG) besides being an avid technology evangelist and Enterprise Services Mashup visionary. He also lends his hand in building Spatial technology solutions using Google and economic analytics for non-profit organizations to help solving deep rooted social issues like human trafficking and world poverty.

Michael Lawless, Senior Product Manager, Yahoo! Maps

Michael Lawless joined Yahoo! Maps in 2004 and is responsible for managing the consumer facing Website (maps.yahoo.com), the satellite and aerial imagery program, as well as real time traffic information. Lawless has a solid background in managing Internet Solutions for Mapping, GIS and Remote Sensing product lines. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Lawless spent four years at GlobeXplorer LLC, the largest commercial distributor of satellite and aerial imagery in the world, where he served most recently as director of product development. Lawless holds a B.A. and M.A. in geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Xavier Lopez, Director, Spatial and Semantic Technologies

Xavier Lopez is Director of Product Management for Oracle's Spatial products group. For the past ten years, he has led Oracle's efforts to incorporate spatial technologies across Oracle's database, application server, and application business. He also leads Oracle's efforts in semantic data management. He has nineteen years of experience in the area of GIS and spatial databases. He holds advanced degrees in engineering and planning from University of Maine, MIT, and the University of California, Davis.

Bryan Mistele, Founder, President and CEO, INRIX

Bryan Mistele is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at INRIX, the leading provider of traffic and location-based services information. Bryan holds both an engineering degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard. Prior to founding INRIX, Bryan was an executive at Microsoft and Ford Motor Company.

Timothy Nats, Director, Product Management, MapQuest

Tim joined MapQuest in 2006 to lead the Product Management team for MapQuest Platform Services that provides an industry-leading geospatial web services platform. He has more than 15 years of experience in planning and building enterprise scale business applications and technologies. Before joining MapQuest, Tim worked at Oracle where he was a Product Strategy Manager focused on Oracle's next generation enterprise application technology strategy. Prior to Oracle, Tim held a variety of roles in information technology services, professional services, and enterprise software product teams including development, architecture, management, and product management.

Steven Pierce, Geospatial Solutions Manager, Johnston McLamb

Steven Pierce leads Johnston McLamb's Geospatial Solutions group. He has over 10 years of experience implementing Oracle database and Web solutions for public, private and regulated sector customers. His particular area of interest is Oracle Spatial technologies and the utilization of Spatial in Business Intelligence application development.

Marc Prioleau, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development, deCarta

Marc brings twenty years of technology marketing, with the last nine years in the location technology and Internet search markets. Prior to deCarta, Marc directed the consumer and enterprise marketing for SiRF Technology. Before SiRF, he was Vice President of Business Development for Outride Inc. (acquired by Google), responsible for commercializing Outride's advanced search technology. Marc also held executive positions at Trimble Navigation, leading marketing for embedded GPS products in the automotive and mobile computing sectors.

Marie-Josée Proulx, Research Assistant, Industrial Research Chair, Universite Laval

Marie-Josée Proulx works in spatial databases and GIS at the Center for Research in Geomatics from Laval University (Quebec, Canada) since 1995. She holds a M.Sc. in geomatics from Laval University. At the beginning, her works were oriented on the typical transactional databases of geomatics applications and since 1997, they now tackle geospatial decision support systems. She is an active member of the NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Geospatial Databases for Decision-Support. Her main research interests include spatial data modelling, multidimensional databases, spatial data warehouses and Spatial OLAP.

Kam Wong, Product Manager, Risk Decision Information Division, Insurance Services Organization

Kam Wong is a Product Manager for ISO’s Risk Decision Information division. He currently manages a suite of GIS-based products for insurers, including ISO’s widely used LOCATION product that accurately defines various rating and underwriting factors for risks in the U.S. He has over 15 years of experience across different lines of insurance and for the last five years has been working closely with many of the top homeowners writers in the country on redefining how they manage their new and renewal book of business. He holds a BS degree from NYU, an MBA degree from Baruch College (CUNY), and is a certified Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting professional.

Dr. Carl Reed, CTO, Open Geospatial Consortium

Dr. Carl Reed is currently the Chief Technology Officer of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC), a non-profit international standards organization with a current membership of over 300 commercial, government, and academic organizations. The OGC provides a consensus forum within which the members collaborate to solve interoperability and standards related problems for the both geospatial community as well as users of geospatial content and technology in the broader IT sector.

Ted deSaussure, State & Local Government Business Development Manager, Information Builders

Ted deSaussure has been in the information technology business for over 25 years and has been with Information Builders for over 20 years. With Information Builders, Ted has most recently developed, implemented, and promoted the Geographic Business Intelligence Systems (GBIS) initiative. This initiative integrates Information Builders' WebFOCUS product with ESRI's server-based mapping software to deliver browser-based applications that combine GIS with traditional reporting. Ted was instrumental in the development of fraud detection, disaster response and law enforcement applications that exploit this technology. Currently, Ted is Information Builders’ Law Enforcement and Integrated Justice Business Development Manager.

Todd Schmitt, Senior Manager, Enterprise Markets, Tele Atlas

Todd Schmitt has been with Tele Atlas since 1998. Over the last nine years, he has performed a number of roles in project, product, and marketing management, including bringing several new products to market. Throughout his career at Tele Atlas, Todd has worked closely with clients in a variety of industries including tool and application providers, business intelligence, risk management, banking, demographics, utilities, state governments, and telcos.

Ryan Sarver, Director of Consumer Products, Skyhook Wireless

Ryan Sarver leads product initiatives including the consumer product Loki at Skyhook Wireless. He focuses on leveraging the WPS platform in consumer applications and experiences through products like Loki or through partnerships. Prior to Skyhook Wireless, Sarver was a founder and the Chief Technology Officer at Xplana, Inc, an educational software company. Sarver is also the founder and chair of the LocationAware Working Group and an Invited Expert for the W3C’s Ubiquitous Web Applications Working Group.

Dave Sonnen, President, Integrated Spatial Solutions, Inc.

Dave Sonnen founded Integrated Spatial Solutions, Inc. in 1991. The company provides market development and software design to the spatial information management industry. He has been involved in the SIM marketplace for more than 30 years and has been IDC’s senior consultant for spatial information management since 1991. His Spatial Information Management reports are widely regarded as the industry’s most accurate and influential thought leadership and economic information. His experiences include the design, implementation, management and marketing of spatial and other large-scale information systems. Before founding ISSI, he held senior positions in both commercial and government organizations. He also has extensive experience in design of large distributed database systems.

Chris Steel, Senior Partner, PA Consulting

Chris Steel is a Senior Partner at PA Consulting and leads PA's IT Consulting business in the US. Chris is experienced at building and leading teams to deliver complex IT-enabled change. He has particular expertise in GIS and Network Inventory Solutions and prior to joining PA in 1999 was a member of the ESRI (UK) Management Board. Chris holds a BSc, MSc and MBA.

Ethan Stock, Zvents CEO and Founder

Ethan Stock co-founded Zvents in 2005. Zvents is the local search engine for things to do, powering a network of local and national media partners with timely and relevant event content and advertising for entertainment, retail, sports, community, and more. Prior to Zvents, Stock was a founding partner of investment firm NetService Ventures; COO of eBusinessMedia, the London-based B2B Internet arm of UK publisher United News & Media; and a principal consultant at technology strategy firm The McKenna Group.

Dr. Raisa Suhir, Co-founder, Information Asset Partners LLC

Dr. Raisa Suhir is a leading edge expert in fields of applied data, marketing analytics and risk management. She has more than 25 years of progressive experience in developing and implementing knowledge based applications instrumental in market assessment, segmentation and direct marketing in consumer and commercial and industrial markets, increasing profitability of customer acquisition and retention programs, establishing proactive risk management programs, and assessing market share and brand loyalty dynamics. Dr. Vincent Tao, Director, Microsoft Virtual Earth

Dr. Vincent Tao is Director of Microsoft Virtual Earth. He was the Founder and President of GeoTango, which was acquired by Microsoft in December, 2005. Prior to joining GeoTango, Tao held the eminent Canada Research Chair Professorship in Geomatics and founding Director of Geospatial Information and Communication Technology Lab at York University in Toronto. Tao is an internationally renowned innovator in multiple sensor 3D mapping, distributed geospatial visualization and location based services. Tao holds several executive positions in organizations and adjunct professorships in universities. He has authored over 200 technical papers and a number of book chapters, and served as Editorial Board for five International journals.

Brian Timoney, Principal, The Timoney Group

As principal of The Timoney Group in Denver, Colorado, Brian specializes in helping companies link their disparate data systems via a single geospatial interface. With 10 years of GIS experience in the defense, environmental, and petroleum sectors, he combines a thorough knowledge of traditional spatial technologies with an energetic adoption of Web interfaces, spatial databases, and open-source software. Brian holds a B.A. from Columbia University in Philosophy-Economics and a M.S. from Penn State in Geography.

Marc Tremblay, Ph.D., General Manager, Commercial Business Unit, DigitalGlobe

Marc is responsible for the management of global commercial sales via direct, channel, and web distribution. Marc brings over 15 years of experience as an executive with a proven track record in a wide variety of functional disciplines. Most recently Marc was the Vice President, Business Development & Product Management for Z Corporation. Prior to Z Corporation Marc was President and CEO of SYNCLINE, INC. Marc graduated with an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, a M.S. & Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Jean-Sébastien Turcotte, Executive Vice President and CTO, KOREM

Jean-Sébastien Turcotte has more than 13 years of experience in the field of information technologies of which 10 have been exclusively dedicated to the GIS field. Turcotte joined KOREM in February 2001 as Director of Software Development and Services and is now Executive Vice-President and CTO. In this role, he is responsible for KOREM’s products technical direction. He also acts as advisor in all large scale projects.

Robert Uleman, IT Specialist, IBM Information Management

Robert Uleman, IT Specialist at IBM Information Management, provides leadership and support on all things spatial to IBM sales teams, partners and customers worldwide. His career in spatial database technology started a decade ago at Illustra, an object-relational database vendor, and has continued through acquisitions by Informix and IBM. Before that, he developed GIS and image processing software at Strategic Mapping and other Silicon Valley startups. His formal education is in applied physics and geophysics.

Bernt Wahl, Berkeley Industry Fellow Company,U.C. Berkeley

Bernt Wahl has several passions, including starting fun and innovative companies, teaching entrepreneurship, writing books on chaos theory and fractal geometry, and Internet search technology. Throughout his career, he has been involved with several start-ups and has taught over 1,000 university engineering students how to develop new product ideas. Wahl founded Dynamic Software in 1987 while at UC Santa Cruz. Its first products produced mathematical visualization software. Dynamic Interactive -- a spin-off company started in 1995 -- was a pioneer Internet commerce company servicing clients that included Microsoft, Sun and Macromedia. He has served as CEO of both start-ups.

Jaron Waldman - the Founder and CEO, Placebase

Jaron Waldman is the Founder and CEO of Placebase, creator of Pushpin -- a leading hosted mapping platform that also provides an extensive repository of on-tap local data. For the last 10 years, Waldman has focused on putting geospatial tools and local content directly into the hands of broad audiences via the web. His adventures in Web mapping began in 1998 while working on Neighborhood Knowledge Los Angeles, a neighborhood early warning system that maps a variety of public datasets to pinpoint neighborhood deterioration.

David Wright, Director, Professional Products Group, National Geographic Maps

Starting in 2006, David Wright began a critical transition in NG Maps Pro software product suite from desktop applications to secure, pliable Web-based solutions for maps and other digital content services. Wright has deep roots in GIS, remote sensing, and georeferenced digital media. Wright has a broad understanding of GIS systems and their connections to modern spatial problem solving. He received a B.S. in International Agronomy in 1995 and a M.S. in Soil and Crop Sciences in 2002, with focus in GIS and Remote Sensing, both from Colorado State University.

Chris Thomas, Director of Strategic Alliances, DMTI Spatial

During the past 10 years, Chris Thomas has held various positions at DMTI Spatial including Strategic Account Manager, Manager of Sales and Senior Sales Engineer. Before joining DMTI Spatial and in earlier years with the company, his responsibilities encompassed development and technical roles with a focus on GIS. Chris earned a GIS Specialist Certificate program from McMaster University in 1995, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Laurentian University in 1994.

Peter Robinson-Gray,Manager of Risk Technologies, Genworth Financial Canada

Peter Robinson-Gray has more than 35 years experience in building, appraising, insuring, selling and financing residential and commercial real estate in Canada. Educated in Canada, Robinson-Gray holds professional real estate financing designations in both Canada and the USA. Since joining GE/Genworth in 1995, he has held positions within Risk Management, National Sales and Information Technology. Currently in the Risk Management Department, he is involved in the research, development, evaluation and automation of underwriting tools including Address Management, Market and Neighbourhood Risking, Automated Valuation Models and Price Validation Models.

Ed Katibah

Ed Katibah began his professional career over 30 years ago while working at UC Berkeley after completing graduate studies there. Katibah has extensive experience in the spatial industry with job assignments ranging from research, software, consulting, application programming and large scale spatial database systems. Prior to joining Microsoft, Katibah worked for Informix Software and IBM. At Microsoft, he is responsible for the new spatial data types in the upcoming SQL Server 2008 database software.

Berk Charlton

Berk Charlton is the Director of Global Geocoding Product Management for Pitney Bowes Software, and has responsibility for all of the U.S. and International geocoding products. Charlton has been working in the GIS and Location Intelligence industry for 17 years, and has held a variety of positions in consulting, business development and management.

Steve Lombardi

Steve Lombardi has been doing maps for a long while and has somehow managed to fashion a career of working in this most enjoyable space. Currently a Program Manager at Microsoft working on Virtual Earth, previous gigs included PB MapInfo and a couple of location based startups. After taking MapPoint 2006, MapPoint Web Service and the Microsoft Location server on the road as Technical Evangelist, Lombardi began focusing on product development of Virtual Earth where his evil overlord manager has kept him locked away for the past three years. Lombardi is looking forward to escaping for a few days and returning to the Location Intelligence conference to reconnect with friends and colleagues from past events :-)

Jean-Louis Casabonne

Jean-Louis Casabonne manages worldwide Quova customer and partner strategies to bring Quova's solutions to the marketplace. As chief operating officer, he is responsible for guiding the company's growth, including subscription and license revenue, and all corporate financial matters. He was previously co-founder, CFO and vice president of finance at Inxight Software, a spinoff from Xerox PARC. Casabonne began his finance career at Lockheed Missiles & Space Company, and has been involved with other entrepreneurial businesses. He earned his BS and MBA degrees at Santa Clara University.

Avencia develops geospatial analysis tools and services for government, non-profit, commercial and research organizations. Mr. Cheetham has more than 13 years of experience in developing location-based software tools in a range of domains including: real estate, crime analysis, land conservation, cultural resources, economic development and elections

Dale Lutz

Dale Lutz, Safe Software co-founder, has 16+ years of experience in spatial data interoperability. As Vice President of Product Development, Lutz oversees the development of FME with key focus on optimizing the user experience in interactive data transformation environments and integrating spatial ETL technology into third-party GIS applications. Lutz also plays an instrumental role in presenting and sharing his spatial ETL expertise at industry events. He recently received his Masters degree in Software Technology.

Alan Fuller

Alan S. Fuller is Director of Product Management in Oracle's Business Intelligence Product Group. He joined the Oracle family as part of Oracle's acquisition of Siebel Systems. Prior to joining the Product Management team, he managed the global Business Intelligence deployment at Siebel Systems to more than 5000 employees. Siebel's CIO referred to it as "the most impactful project he had seen in over 30 years of IT experience." After moving to the Product Management team at Oracle, Mr. Fuller has been "hands-on" in delivering Oracle's market-leading BI products. His areas of focus have included managing teams for Core Product Management, Release Management, and Customer Success. He has helped to integrate the BI products acquired by Oracle leading to a tripling of revenue from these products over the last two years. Mr. Fuller received an MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Joel MacIntosh

Joel MacIntosh is founder and Chief Executive Officer of WolfNet Technologies, a privately held company that specializes in providing web site and Internet technology services to more than 40,000 real estate agents and brokers nationwide. WolfNet’s services include award-winning web site design, company Intranets, Industry leading IDX/VOW search solutions, lead management/distribution/conversion, MapTracksSM map-based property searches, online marketing strategy formulation and implementation, custom application development, and general consulting.

Joel focuses on business management, business planning, and product development. He is also active in sales, marketing, client consulting, and speaking engagements. Joel holds a BSB degree, majoring in Small Business Management and Entrepreneurship, from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Mark Smith

Mark is responsible for the overall direction of Ventana Research and drives the global Performance Management research agenda covering both business and technology areas. He defined the blueprint for Performance Management as the linking together of people, processes, information and technology across organizations to drive effective results. Mark is an expert in Performance Management, Business Intelligence and Information Management across finance, operations and IT. As an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Mark worked at companies including SAP, META Group, Oracle and IRI Software before founding Ventana Research. He has experience in banking, consumer products, food and beverage, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and retail and consumer services.

Joel Herr

Joel Herr is a GIS Specialist for NVision Solutions Inc. Herr started with NVision fresh out of college with a degree in computer science with initial interests in Web development. As the GIS world turned to Web-based applications and data delivery it was a small step for Herr to focus his career on GIS. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Herr provided on-demand, emergency mapping services for every aspect of the relief effort at the Hancock County Emergency Operations Center as well as FEMA’s Area and Joint Field Offices in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Kush Parikh

Kush Parikh is responsible for business development and strategic partnerships at INRIX where he focuses on dynamic content acquisition, wireless applications, and managing INRIX's IP portfolio. Parikh has over 12 years of experience in the high tech sector, primarily in mobile, wireless, and embedded devices. His functional expertise varies from sales and product marketing to full profit and loss responsibility in emerging markets. Parikh holds a MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.

Marc Naddell

Marc Naddell is a veteran in the mobile communications industry with more than 19 years experience in creating and managing Partner Management Programs, Product & Solution Portfolios, and Business Strategies and currently serves as Vice President of Developer & Partner Programs for Navteq. Prior to working for NAVTEQ, Naddell worked for Nokia as Head of Developer Programs, where he created and led the Forum Nokia PRO team which brought several successful offerings to the industry, including Forum Nokia PRO and six Forum Nokia PRO offerings (Enterprise Zone, Games Zone, Symbian Zone, FLASH Zone, University Zone and Networks Zone) which provide targeted holistic 3rd party engagement to business units across the company and included strategic corporate partners Symbian and Adobe.
