2005
Our 2005 conference provided a forum for taking a closer look at established ideas, reassessing their validity and re-thinking where location technology meets the needs of business processes. Mark Snow of Cox Communications provided clear guidance on how to assemble the right technology partners that are able to deliver the right solutions, provided that ample vision and sufficient upper management support are in place. Tim O'Reilly of O'Reilly Media indicated that location technology got on his "radar" screen when he saw an increased level of "hacker activity" taking place to create visualization tools that used digital mapping. In all, the conference brought together solution providers that were able to network and communicate, share and validate the ideas that will shape the future expansion of "location intelligence" within enterprises that see the importance of "know where...now!
